CT2019

Hello everyone,

I will present you the script for Christmas Town in 2019.

Installation
  • Download Tampermonkey (Chrome or Firefox) or another script manager (Greasemonkey isn't supported).
  • Install the script.
  • On the first page load on CT, it might ask your API key, this is needed for the item value. It won't ask if you already entered it for any other of my scripts.
  • Enjoy.
Features
On the map:
  • Highlights items, keys and chests.
In a view above the map:
  • Shows a list of nearby items, chests and combination chests, as they are personal as well.
  • Shows a list of nearby chests.
  • Shows some stats of CT, like items found (includes chests and minigames).
  • Shows an helper for some minigames (Christmas Wreath and Word Fixer).
Others:
  • Option to hide the compass in the map view.
Bugs / Missing features
If you have any bugs or feature requests, you can add them as issue on GitHub.
I will fix bugs whenever I can. Features are probably not for this year.

Credits
  • Jox [1714547] - provided the CSS for hiding the compass
  • Helcostr [1934501] - provided the code (and permission to use it) for the WordFixer helper

Find the script here.

Since the map editor became public I will release the script when it goes into BETA. I'm currently having a limited amount of people (2, me + someone else xd) test it in an ALPHA version so I can eliminate the obvious bugs now.

I plan to go into beta in about a week as I'm currently improving my utility library to make it easier to use.

Hey there, glad that someone took that job, there are some things that are a bit boring to do... so i would skip them... but i made something that I think is interesting for everyone, with addition of new maps... ppl that was collecting full maps last years had really bad job to do, so for this year, i have created script that can draw entire map while you walking around, also added 2 things that i really need (item highlite and remove of that compas like image - i really hate it... lol)
Here is image how image creation looks like and item finder... it's still buggy but it will work.

If someone is interested i can make this script available for others...

Looking for someone that can setup a system to relay chests and npc locations.
WebSockets aren't an option due to CSP blocking those so it would probably have to be something like GET and POST requests.

Just some help with setting it up it good too.
No need to rent a server or something tho, a free hosting service is fine.

is there any way to clear out the total value collected? ive been having fun messing around with the maps, but i would like to keep a clean count once the event starts.

stupid question here but important probably for more users, which line do we place our API and how? I keep getting a mistake at line 71 no matter how I input the API...
DeKleineKobini [2114440] Committee Committee
You do not have to input it, it will ask it on first load.
It will not ask it if you already use one of my other scripts that uses the api.
