I eat expensive candies and my happiness dissapears the monent I go to the gym. My candies are gone my happiness back to its base amount. This has happened many times, with and without drugs, with and without drug addiction.
I'm seriously considering quitting this game.

You are able to go over your maximum base happy but be warned your happiness doesn't stay like that, it will reset to its maximum base every fifteen minutes on the hour at xx:15 xx:30 xx:45 and xx:00. This means that if you go over your maximum happiness, you only have a small time frame to use it or lose it! Be aware of the current time before doing anything that would drastically increase your happiness over maximum!

Happiness resets every 15 minutes of the hour. If it is OVER your maximum, it will reset back to that on every 15 minutes of the hour. MikePence has posted the Wiki page explaining this above.


Just to confirm for you though, here is the logs around the time of the report.

As you can see, you used candies too close to the reset (02:30 in this case), and would have lost any extra that you had.
