Sent a special fruit cake to someone in jail, I looked and it didn't give me the mission. Still says I have to send a special fruitcake, and the fruitcake is gone from my inventory.

Did the person get busted from jail before you sent the cake? It’s happened to me before. Might just be bad luck.
I'll pass this to Pavel.
Looks like you still have a special fruitcake in your inventory - https://gyazo.com/464afaf6e06ab9a543675d27855fcfec?
As of this morning the fruit cake is back in my inventory. Thanks everyone.
According to logs it was there during all the time - perhaps when you tried to send the cake, that player was already out of jail.
