I just want to find out when i bid on an item in the auction house and the full amount i bid is not reached will the excess be returned to me after i win the bid?

Yes, your excess money will be returned upon you winning the bid. The full amount will be repaid also if you get outbid by another player. The payment takes form in a cashiers cheque, so you'll have 24 hours to collect it before the money automatically gets placed in hand.
Another question: Can a 10m value item on auction be won by a highest bid which lower than the item value (say 5m)? Is this possible?
Items can easily sell less than what they’re worth if the auction time ends before higher bids roll in.
To add to this... people like to get items cheaper than they’re worth (possible profit after the fact) so that’s kind of the goal. Sometimes it happens that way, and sometimes it doesn’t. :)
**To add on to this more... people will some times enlist their friends to bid heavy on an item of theirs so they don’t ‘sell’ it for less than its worth. I’ve helped friends do this, as why sell it for way cheap when you can essentially get it back from a friend and hopefully sell it for closer to the actual value/more than the value.

can i remove a item that i put up for auction?
No. Once it’s started, you cannot. You can however have a friend bid high crazy amounts on your item in order to have them win it/return it to you.
