I’ve noticed a trend with all these new-ish players. Many of them “looking for a job that pays $1mil or more. My stat total is 20k! 10* oil company, 10*tv company, 10*fitness center only!”
I don’t want to be the one to tell their place, but....know your place! You would be lucky to even get in the $100ks with those stats. Lol
if you work for a 10* company you should know that your pay is decreased since most directors cut costs by decreasing pay. This is because the specials outweigh the pay. So they can do this easy with no hurt feels.
Don’t keep jumping from company to company either. Not only is it rude, but if you grow roots in a company you show loyalty. Most directors want loyalty. If you’re joining a new business directors most likely want loyal staff with low stats instead of a large stat worker who may leave for that oil company gig.
Anyway peace out! Stay frosty!
I had someone ask for $5m a day pay from my fitness company.
I had a guy of 14 days in the game tell me how much stat trains cost... im over 14 years in the game. Lol good for a laugh though
Perhaps idiot directors should stop throwing ridiculous amounts of money at people
That right there is the biggest problem in the game today. Directors not willing to say no..people wanting 6 mill a day is very unrealistic. Directors paying it are creating a long term problem.
And Ched wont fix this one. He would love to see fewer companies.
There really isn't anything for Ched to do. If someone came to my company and asked for that much money to join, I would laugh at them so hard. Most I have ever paid anyone was when I was trying to get a farm going and I really needed people, but I didn't even go near 1 million, I think I paid someone 150k, cause they had decent stats... We just have to tell people no. Yeah someone else might hire that person for their stupid amount, but that company won't be around long if they do.
Or introduce a limited business license system and return it to a director's market and make everyone else fight to be competitive to work ;)
I agree, this is something that directors have to do. Ched, and any admin, can't regulate this. Like the other guy said, stupid directors need to stop over paying and giving people this unrealistic view. The highest pay I give is $4mil, and that's for the Captain of my Cruiseline. He kind of deserves that! Everyone else, nuh uh! Nope! Not Happening!
I have to admit that I am paid a sum of over 2mil each day but I have also built working stats up and almost have 300k total work stats. And I have been with the company for almost 2 years with a small break right in the middle.
There you mentioned the difference. Your stats, and overal loyalty.
It's different with people who have, lets say 50k stats each and asked for at least 4m pay cause thats how much he got in the previous logistic company. Well, why did he leave then? Why couldnt he just message any logistic directors with openings for a job with bigger pay?
Here's what I find jarring, employees think that just because a certain type of company able to pay a certain amount equals with how much he's worth. Thus he flaunts the numbers around and expect nothing less.
I had someone message me the other day trying to see if he could improve his wage. He had just under 400k stats...
I offered 1m a day...
He didn't respond.
WOAH! 400k?
I would give him 1.2m tell him to contact me XD
That's it?
I'll give him 1.5m
Sadly I can't remember his name.
He's probably going to think he's worth 6m anyway
I don't think its about people not willing to say no. Sadly many directors start a log company and have no idea what they are doing. They are told it makes mega millions so they want it. They don't plan and budget, they hire 5-6m staff and then when fully staffed realise they are making a loss. Either because they are clueless in selling globals and advertising or they pay too much in wages.
The annoying thing is, they go bust and that's it they move on, we are the ones having to face the ridiculous wage claims and lack of employees. Struggling to replace people because some fools throw money at them for the short term only.
So i fully agree with the OP, get a job with your stats for 5m for a few days, or be guaranteed a job at a lower rate for a much longer time. Employees also need to think "big picture".
I just lost a driver because he got poached by another logistics. Now I’ve got a guy who isn’t even 100% wanting over 1m pay lmao
End of the day the best directors can find staff within their means. So no need to worry.
over 400k? I'll pay $2,5mil as First Officer for my cruiseliner
That's exactly why there are 25 pages of logistic companies with staffing demands of over 3500 players, all of whom need high stats. Makes it hard for other high stat required companies to compete.
