Does anyone have any tips in growing a Gaming YouTube channel (other than click bate) or any gaming video editing tips?

Well, look at all the other videos, what does everyone have in common? What is the target audience, gaming channels tend to attract kids, how does YouTubes algorithms work, what should you do and what should you avoid doing?
Then there's advertising, are you a competitive gamer? Do you have actual skillz or do you play casually? Find a way to market your content so it stands out, either through video editing or whatever you can come up with then find forums, subreddits and figure out a sneaky way to shove your links down peoples throats without being the hey guys check out my YouTube channel type of person.
Just gotta' do some market research. Figure out what works.

I am no expert as I never had a decent youtube channel, but I have watched a lot of players and dabbed into a twitch for five minutes here and there.
Are you charismatic and have a likable or comedic personality without becoming cringe? Because if you cannot hold my attention no matter how good you are at gaming, you lost me. Unless you are that quiet guy when you do that subtly funny one liner.
Also, get yourself a decent video editor for youtube or establish yourself on twitch.
