It's good that you're trying to improve your graphic. I know Blender. My spouse DOM's working with that one IRL so I know a little bout it. It's a 3D software to mesh and render. A simpler version of 3Ds Max or Maya. Blender or any 3D rendering software are good for meshing on 3D social networks. It's not suitable for Torn, however. Since Torn is a text based game, it isn't 3D. Every images on Torn are basically 2D. You better off using Photoshop or GIMP for editing on Torn. They have simpler workspace and easy to work with too :3
There are alot of tutorials on YouTube you can find. Just type "Image Manipulation Photoshop Tutorial" in the Search bar and you'll be good. Good luck on your journey! :D ♥
