Back in the medival times Kings had Lord and lords had Knights.
Knights had their own soldiers, So when Lords called Their banners aka Knights They Got a all their Knights bring their own forces.
Similarly when king call his Banners All the Lords came with their Knight armies
You see the Geometeric Progression.

Now imagine a Big Faction, here Relentless ,, has lots of rich members each capable of buying a few factions.
Now When The Big Relentless Boss ask His Members to go to war, His Members ask the factions They own to Go to War too.
And all of a Sudden what do we see, A Major Faction posting a really vast army, numbers that may go up to Thousands of Players.

I don't know if its a thing or not.
But if it is , we get to learn a Very important detail about the inner politics of megafactions in torn.

That Torn may have a Feudal system of Government. Maybe these Overlords do control far more than what appears on surface.
