The recipient company director receives an event saying that they are receiving the boost. The boost effect itself can be minuscule based on the star rating of the target company (discussion on the topic here), the boost also cannot be used on a Logistics company.
Can you confirm that 250 job points were deducted from your account and the target company director did not receive the event about the boost?
