First time publicly releasing a Torn script, been doing them privately for awhile. Feedback loved.

This script adds percentage numbers for both property stats on your cars, such as Top Speed, as well as on individual parts. Never have to squint at those bars again, or worry about flipping back and forth to a spreadsheet for your next hard won modification.

2 known issues I might fix: 1) Alignment on car list pages, 2) minor semi-transparent occlusions on some numbers due to some hidden spacers on the page

Script here: racing_property_numbers.user.js

There is currently 2 easy configuration items in the script - adjust to taste. In settings, you can configure 2 different display options:

Accuracy: select from PRAGMATIC, PRECISE, and PROXIMA. This controls how much the percentages are rounded. PRAGMATIC gives whole numbers only whereas PROXIMA rounds to 2 decimal places. PRECISE is the default, rounding to 1, and displays enough to always know which car has the higher stat.

Details: select from SIMPLE or FULL. This controls if the level of details displayed is SIMPLE (only displays total number) or FULL (displays total and delta from base). SIMPLE is selected by default which displays better by causing less alignment issues.

Side note: I try to write my scripts in a way that is easy to review, even if the code itself is terrible. I encourage you to review, or have a friend review and script you download, including this one, to ensure it's free of anything malicious. This script itself makes no network calls and explicitly only moves information around that's already on the page itself.

Change log:

0.9: Initial release
1.0: Added Details configuration setting
2.0: More pages supported (like item market) . Refactoring to make future improvements easier

A bunch of subtle updates for 2.0, the major one being it supports the item market and docks pages,

It's worth noting that the bars displayed on those 2 pages are different than those on the racing pages (28/15 ratio), so the percentages will different. A future update will add the option to make these all consistent across pages.

It's a dandy script, I wanted to ask what are the chances that you could implement something that highlights missing parts? mainly just A Class parts. I mean if could check what class the user is and what the max parts they can use and Highlight those for the player to get. Sometimes it's a pain when you crash and you have to go hunt down that missing part. or you've got a class A car and you missing a part or accidentally buy a lower tier car part. This would really help.

if only torntools added functionality like this. dont get me wrong, the value increase on parts is nice and all, but seein a cars base stats and upgraded helps so much

This stopped working for me a few months ago. I think something broke it. Are you going to do an update? I really like it. It's very useful.

i had messaged 811 a while back and i think they did a round of updates but its broken since then. i dont think its very high on priorities unfortunately i keep tryin to push the idea to other ppl that seem to script but no bites yet... would love to see it integrated into torn tools since they already have the % values on the upgrades. they just need to add the cars and such

TornTools already incorporates parts of what this script did. I'd encourage you to lobby them to add the missing bits as it doesn't make sense to continue this one which would conflict with the parts TornTools already does.
