I saw after getting a PC that there is a stock market. is it worth investing in stocks, and how do I get a stock ticker?

Stock ticker you can buy in the points building with points.

Yes the stock is a good investment if you know about stocks and how they work many stock have dividends/benefits and many people invest.

Stocks are good for passive income once you can buy full stock blocks, which is an amount of each one that is required to receive a benefit. Some are items that can be sold.

This guide explains how they work, with a live updating chart showing which have the best return. It may all look like a lot of money, but it's good to know.

I bought the stock ticker too early thinking I might be able to make some money buying and selling stocks. It is possible to do so, but the ups and downs of the Torn stock market are largely random and can require that you hold onto an investment for a long time for it to turn into a profit if it doesn't go your way. Unless you can afford the money to be tied up indefinitely, trying to buy low/sell high is gambling in slow motion.

Keep an eye on the live table in that guide, though. Once you can afford one or more of the better blocks on there, it may be worth it for you to get the ticker.

Don't bother, made the same mistake of buying a stock ticker at level 8 and it was just cash wasted.. wait till you have a decent income and probably 100mil to spare before you go into stocks

Thanks for the advice everyone, especially Clippy - super helpful. I'll definitely wait a while before starting with stocks
