Welcome to Torn! The above guides are super useful of course, but simply following your tutorial missions from George at the beginning too can provide a lot of information, any questions you can always message one of our in game helper staff also!

Hello there! I would start with the missions you get from George. They work as a tutorial of sorts. After that PM me!

Hi Helsinki and welcome to Torn. :)

Torn has a lot to offer and many different paths you can take which means it can be overwhelming to take it all in at first. Don't worry about learning everything right from the start. Most of it you'll pick up as you go along. As long as you get started on a good path and use the available resources to help guide you in the right direction, you'll have no problems!

I always suggest starting by reading Baldr's Basic Advice. Following his guide will ensure you have a good start to build upon. Take some time to read some different threads in the Tutorials & Guides section of the forums. There's an entire wealth of information there. If you've got anything specific you want to learn more about, you can always search for it on the Torn Wiki.

Last but not least, never be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure of something. Make a post in Q&A, ask members of your faction that are more experienced, or even message a Helper, Moderator, or Officer if you just can't figure something out. Torn is full of people who are willing to offer advice as best as they can to help you get going. :)

heyo so basically eclipse summed up that you should follow the link, but just here’s a good kickoff:
1.) follow the missions from george
2.) get your gym stats up
3.) get a decent job
4.) you can do crimes but it’s not the best for level 1
5.) just have fun, a cliche i know but enjoy it!
best of luck to ya <3

After you're done with the above guides & advice, post a new thread asking people for free money and items.

It's a really great community, you will gain some new insightful knowledge on how the game mechanics work!

Lost 4 attacks. Used one xanax. No other actions. No awards. (They come quick at first.)

Some sweetheart sent this person a xanax as a gift for training probably.

I'm all for helping new players, but we should wait until they have spent more than 5 minutes before 20 players bend over backwards for them.

Translation of original post:
"Hi, I just made this account and found the forums but I'm too lazy to browse and find the Tutorials and Guides section. My presence is so special that I expect others to spoon feed me."

I'm sending this guy a xanax. I started like a clown that barely played and spent energy in the dump.

If I'm out a xanax, oh well. The risk is worth it, considering the potential upside.

Oh, and welcome to the game, Helsinki.
