Hey man, any chance you'll publicly release your method of hiding your online status? That was really cool and could be extremely helpful for making it seem like I'm ripe for mugging but I'm actually sitting on the vault page. Don't see how it could be considered gaining an edge over anyone so you should release it!

So you were abusing an exploit when we crossed paths last week. How 'not against TOS' of you.
As we discussed, yes, this is considered an exploit - if you are distributing this or still using it your account will be treated for bug abuse beyond the warning you have already been given per our discussion.
Honestly, it seems you need some serious thinking about better scripting guidelines. Not saying it should necessary be on the rules page as it seems hard to do it there. As it stands, there is no rule on blocking a request to go through (which I'd think is happening with that script, as I've seen that that is the way online status is updated).
These 2 scripting incidents (mine a few days ago with the clicking and now this) make it clear that the rules just straight up suck and don't tell us shit. Following the rules word by word means that those 2 incidents would not be incidents as they would be allowed.
To be clear, I'm not telling you to be less strict on scripting, but it should be clear what is allowed and what isn't. I know that a lot is very specific, which is also why I'd make it a guideline forum post which could cover clicking buttons and why basically doing the same thing is allowed while clicking isn't. I do understand that it's hard to make something like that, but I'm that if you ask a few scripters, they would gladly come up with questions that should get answered.

This was less a matter of a script but rather one of unintended game design itself.
As bogie said, this is not related to scripting, but related to how the game was designed. I am able to influence the game in an unintended way that I don't think I am allowed to elaborate on yet until it's patched. What I was doing wasn't inherently breaking any scripting rules (which I thought that was why bogie approached me), but it's exploitation (which makes way more sense than scripting punishment).

I never said it was breaking any scripting rules, i said you were abusing an exploit to gain an unfair advantage. And the post on your thread wasn't so much to hound you as it was to draw attention to your bullshit and publicly shame you. I could care less how you do it, it's the fact that you were, and still would be, had myself and whoever else had reported you not done so. For all I know you may be using some script as well since you obviously have the ability and toolset to do so. You got caught this time so I'm sure you'll be more careful when you cheat next.

I know this is a bit off topic too, but that font colour is kinda hard to read on some screens. I had to do some squints. I know you probably want it to stand out but a red may work better :)
just felt like asking again as what was answered wasnt really what i was looking for, i was able to mimic what i would like by copying the original script and modifying the error code highlighed below, this is so i can see the balance while flying. Is this possible?

edit: oh FACTION vault. You would have to talk to your faction leader for some kind of script: since that data is locked behind API permissions. (something i forgot to cover). I could also get and store a snapshot of memory of your balance? Which wouldn't require API permissions. Are you fine with something that could be out of date (if you play on a different device)?

A snapshot would suffice, i only regularly play on one device anyway

Torn did the thing that i dreaded and updated their page. I have updated my userscript in response XD. Hopefully it's not borken. 1.5.4
Looks like faction last active script will need to be updated with the new faction page layout...
