Your choice but keep in mind that dragging a price down might upset some People. If it's by a few $ nobody minds but if you cut 10-15k of a 50k item it might piss People of

There's nothing in the rules against it, so you should be good. It's basically akin to selling to a trader, they usually buy a few % below market value.

It would piss people off if others continuously undercut each other and the price keeps going down.. Example A set price of Lion Plushie at 100k, B at 99k, C at 95k, etc..

That said it's all about reading the market and knowing when and what to set the price at..

That happens right now, and people seem to deal with it. I've never heard any complaining about it, but maybe there is.

Its self defeating. Try to sell something for at least close to its real value.

If you sell it at a discount all what is going to happen is someone making a big profit on YOUR stuff.

You should make the profit and sell at the right price.

It depends on how you want to play your inventory, and how soon you want your cash.

If you want to have long term profit of 50% or higher, put it higher and wait for a particular event or time of year. This risks you wasting your time on a valued item that might go down in price, or waste your time and money on a physical item that is better used as a cold hard cash for another investment. Although it's an anomaly, if you accumulated 1k or more of a particular item you can up the price and sell it in bulk. There are some traders that would rather buy things up in bulk immediately at a higher price immediately rather than wait over the course of a week accumulating cheap goods in single to double digits.

If you want to be competitive, you can sell things at a lower price to attract buyers, traders or merchants. I never been messaged for playing the market in my favour, so don't worry on selling things low. The obvious issue is you could lose what you could gain.

Matching the market is another option if you just want money in an instant. This is recommended if you're too low level to store items for future sales, as you may have dire money needs such as rent, and ammo.

Don't worry about pissing people off. They get pissed no matter what. Your items, your price
BUT
why you wanna cut down your profit? Fast income but really hurt your networth on long run. I will sell above market value if I am you ;)

I’m not a trader. I like my items to sell quickly if I can help it. So I generally lower my price just a smidge. Enough for it to make sense, and to make it sell faster.
