6 years 253 days with no upgrades, 3 years 158 days with 10 merits, the Education Principals perk, the WSSB Stock Block and being an employee of a fitness centre - Meow [2441901]

Merit-wise max in 1 day would be : 12 from chaining (Participate in a 10,000 chain + Making a 1000 respect hit + 5k for faction) 22 from attacking (50 streak, 50 hits, beat 5x battlestats, defend from 2x battlestats, …

Taken from dummy guide to education.

Probably about the fastest you could do it would be about 3.75 - 4 years.
Step 1: Hit level 3
Step 2: Convince a 10* fitness center to take you on and give you all of the trains for ~13 days until you have enough stats to fast track the Edu job
Step 3: Quit the fitness center and work at the Edu City job for 26 days
Step 4: Go back to the fitness center for a few years
Figure that you can hit level 3 by the end of your first day. WSSB can knock the first 1 week class down to 6.3 days. Using JP can knock that down further to about 4 days, so you should be able to finish two intros maybe even three before you quit for the city job.
While doing this you should be chasing the edu merits. With all of the new honors available and some help you should be able to get 55 merits pretty quickly, call it two weeks. So by the time you finish working at the fitness center so when you quit you can still finish Edus at the same pace.
So 39 days after starting Torn, you can have all of the reductions to Edu available.
Starting from 6.75 years, say that first month is not reduced at all but you're still doing edus. 4 years, 3 months, 25 days and ~15 hours to complete. Figure another 6 months of reductions from JP and you're done in just under 4 years.
I'm probably missing something and definitely making some simplifying assumptions. One of the big math gurus can fact check me.

To be able to convince a 10* fitness centre to take on at level 3 and give all trains for 13 days. Either the person has a silver tongue, or $52m in cash to buy all the train (assuming trains are sold for cheap at 400k each). I personally doubt that a 10* fitness centre would take on a stranger with low working stats.

22 from attacking (50 streak, 50 hits, beat 5x battlestats, defend from 2x battlestats, friendly fire, attack duke/leslie, church mouse, phoenix, one-shot, domino, defeat a married couple, defeat someone with your spouse, guardian angel, vengeance)
2 from church (donate 1 mil)
2 from dump (dump 1mil+, dump 5k items)
2 from bank (make investment 1bil+)
1 from stock (buy 100mil then sell 15 minutes later)
2 from trading (100 customers a little unreliable, but buying and selling points is easy)
3 from items (pranks)
3 from misc (login on a special day, reset merits, chronicles)
2 from properties (airstrip, yacht)
1 from bounties (25 bounties)
1 from level (5)
2 from casino (rr)
Exactly 55 merits. There's always buying merits to supplement, and I'm sure there are a couple i missed, but it should be possible to get max edu merits on the first day

Don't forget you can only buy merits at a rate equal to 1 per every 2 levels
yeah, so max buy would be 3 at lvl6
it takes forever i would suggest all the upgrades and the stock that makes education free. although the cost isnt much for all education.
Also if they decide to dump some money in the game they can buy the Book of Carols (exspensive but helps with reduction)
With book of carols is goes down to 1 year 261.5 days assuming you have all the perks on the first day, which is not possible, so maybe 1 year 280 days max from starting
This is me totally being lazy but curious. How much would one have to spend on Book of Carols in order to achieve that goal of 1 year and 280 days?
Well given that 2 hours reduction would cost $60 million and take 24 hours of time, somewhere around the $30 billion mark, although I haven't done it exactly
That's it? Haha. Thanks. I suck at math.
Can't make a 1b investment on day 1 anymore :(
"Changed longer bank investment periods to be locked for new players until preceding options are completed"

That's investment periods not amount. And people have gotten to level 15 on day 1 before
Oh lord. You are right, total derperino right here. My bad.
I guess I was thinking about how I personally would never invest a bil for a week and for some reason my brain said you flat out just can't do it because of that.
And I believe it. I got lvl 15 in like 8 or 9 days I think? Only used natural E though.
