Yesterday and last night was the worse 24 hours yet, it spilled into the Capital City of St Paul. more violence in Oakdale. 3rd Precinct destroyed with many other businesses.

This is a perfect example of why social media is the downfall of society. People with low enough morals to present opinion as fact and the people stupid enough to believe anything they read because it's on Twitter. There is no coming back from this.

Sure went out of his way to cover up in black clothing, got followed around by a guy in pink (who we'll likely hear from down the road), walks up to autozone just minding his own business, whips out a hammer to break some windows, then calmly walks off. There's no protesting action in any of the video taken of him walking around, yet after breaking the window he walks off and tries to make tracks. Guy in pink shirt tries asking him why he did that and gets threatened, guy in black continuess to make his way off scene.
This is SOP when breaking up protests, it's been documented time and again in multiple jurisdictions as a way of engaging in militant police actions and for increasing police budgets and enhancing their arsenal by claiming their expanded budgets are justified to deal with out of control behaviour.

You got your peaceful protestors. then you got you assholes who take advantage of any situation to cause chaos and riot and loot, they dont give a damn about what happened and are in the wrong to act in such a savage manner.
On top of that its a huge failure on the police departments and mayor to not give a tough enough response to the chaos.
If it were upto me I would declare martial law in the city, call in the national guard and stop this nonsense.
Give a fair 1 hr warning for protesters to go home. after that anyone who doesnt leave and is rioting, detain them all, by the busload.
Whichever place they were caught damaging, force garnish their accounts to pay for the damages.
THESE RIOTS NEED TO BE STOPPED BEFORE THEY SPREAD ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
ARREST THE DAMN OFFICERS INVOLVED IN THE KILLING AND EXPEDITE THE COURT DATES AND TRIALS!!
Also this morning, the first people arrested were a CNN reporter and his crew covering the riots on LIVE TV. Like how effing dumb are the cops here??

I'm on the ground here and while the looters are somewhat scary, they aren't general out to physically harm others.
I'm much more afraid of the police.

It’s a well known police tactic and has been done for decades so it would not surprise me if there were some undercover cops at the riots. I’ve heard there are videos also but I haven’t seen them yet. We’ll just have to wait and see if the rumours are true or not.
