Hi, just wondering if there is a way to force the game to check for updates or to download them yourself? I don't think I'm on the current version and am having problems with crashes which release notes for recent updates say they have fixed.
My game is currently unplayable :(

If its on steam, you can always make it high priority update and try to check the integrity of the game.
Elsewhere, there might be a repair in the installation folder, but that should be about it.
Usually there is another alternative that is to check for the updates of the cracked versions in a torrent site and manually update yours without cracking it, but there is none for RDR 2 as far as i could find.
Is your rockstar game launcher working fine (without you launching any game)?
And have you tried running it with admin permissions?
I'm using Rockstar Games Launcher. In the settings I have the box ticked for "automatic update downloads" but I haven't had any as of yet.
Games launcher is working fine and lets me launch the game.
