As I learn how to code to automate things, I often wondered if it is possible to automate the job of coding instead. Imagine a world where codes write themselves and fixes their own bug.

Codes can be self-written. Have you ever met java?
But bug-fixing?
This would require Artificial Intelligence, which in itself is a paradox of nature. A computer cannot be programmed to think in different ways than it is coded to do. It will have priorities that must be followed, and will never be bias free.
Bug fixing also requires ingenuity, far beyond anything we see computer-wise today. Maybe in a hundred years, but wishful thinking!
