Mitagated attack?

Not sure if a bug but I hit a lvl 11 with an arma lite 3-4 times and a diamond bladed knife and a handgun, in total hit him maybe 7 times, but the attack log said I was doing 0 damage and the weapons said mitagated? Not sure what that is. Screen shots available

It means their defence is at least 14x times higher than your strength. In such case, your weapon and their armour doesn't make a difference.

Try taking vicodin, or ask somebody stronger to help you, and in either case: train your strength.

On the off chance you can use needles, epinephrine may solve the issue, too.

His defense has to be 14 times more than your defense for attacks to be mitigated..

Also, level may not be a true indicative of his strength.. He may be a level holder..

It means his defense is more than 14 times higher than your strength. If you think you are close to having enough strength to damage them you can try popping a vicodin, or if it's really important you can try epinephrine if able.
