great extension. was using doctorn, switched to torntools. it has same features and many new features
i recommend.

It installs on kiwi but it doesn't seem possible to put in the API key into settings ..

It is possible through the custom menu added to Kiwi.
1) First add the extension by installing it
2) Open the triple dot menu (...) and scroll all the way down to the new menu item 'Torn Tools'

You have to open up the TornTools popup like you would with Doctorn. Click the 3 dots -> scroll down to TornTools -> click the icon and then the popup opens (on separate page for mobile).

Doesn't DocTorn integrate with TornStats? Does TornTools do any of that?

TornStats is integrated in TornTools. It shows the Gym graph on Gym page. It also shows info about player's stats on their Profile page that is fetched from TornStats. Coming with v4.6 is also integration of the Natural Nerve Bar info for OCs.

You can indeed enter the API key on kiwi if you scroll down to the added menu item in the main triple dot menu (all the way at the bottom).
I have updated my post above.

What doesn't work and what threw me off at the start is going to the list of extensions and opening the extension settings. ( triple dot menu - Extensions - Torn Tools - Extension options ) I guess this has to do with an incompatibility between Kiwi and the way the extension setting pages for this extension are created.

I see what you mean. I indeed haven't added the API entry explicitly to the Settings page but rather to the popup. Still there is the option to "Change" API key (under Settings -> API Info -> scroll down) which works the same way as setting it in the first place.

I can see it there, but the field isn't editable in Kiwi when accessed from the extension settings.

Can we get the profile stats to look not so wonky on mobile, that would be nice

Yea sure. I am currently working on fixing stuff for the mobile users. Have added this to my to-do list :).

I will check it out, see if I can fix it :).

I found a minor issue.
Throughout the plugin the fold up ( ^ ) and fold down ( V ) icons are used the wrong way around.

Standard GUI design is that a collapsed bar shows a downward facing V to indicate the bar will expand downward.
Similarly an expanded item would show a ^ symbol to indicate it can be collapsed upward.

Example:

Oh hey this can be collapsed if you are not interested in it ! *clicks collapse toggle*

Unexpected menu shows up...

EDIT: There are a few occurrences where they are used correctly. The City items window them the correct way around.
Mephiles [2087524]
I can revert these. Although I just checked and even Torn uses downward arrows when containers are opened. I have felt this way more comfortable always.

I have also redesigned the Travel Table for 4.6 so it will look a bit better than now :P.
KiB [2157153]
Torn uses ( > ) for collapsed and ( V ) for opened. You could use that but it sort of requires the buttons to be in the top right corner.
The element type you are using is called an 'accordeon' in Human Interface Design and it normally works as i described.

Anyway, it is inconsistent - see my edit about City finds window, which uses them correctly.

I have a small issue. I use AWH for my trading and the auto message function adds the 'hide these values' to my messages because they are in the trade box.
Also when i have the values turned on AWH can't find the items in my list because the prices are in the same line as the name.
Any work around? Love your tool but i use AWH constantly and got tired of turning the tool on and off for every trade
Mephiles [2087524]
Either way, Thanks Kib. I will turn all of them the right way for 4.7. I already managed to release 4.6 this morning.

You couldnt find it because the name of the thread was "Torn Market"

That is true. My first extension was Torn Market which evolved into Torn Tools later on. Didn't think of creating a new thread so Armpit created one himself here, forgot to tell him the previous name was Torn Market :P.
