Not your average Drug Question

I plan on getting Opium, Ketamine, and Cannabis merits and i was just wondering do these drugs effect my drug cooldown just as much as xan? or will it take a while to get to 5%? Basically do i need to go to rehab a few times if i was to take these drugs constantly for the next 8 days

opium does not give you any addiction. ketamine and cannabis both do, though i don't think that anybody knows the exact number of addiction points they give. suffice to say, it's less than xanax.

edit: it has been brought to my attention that i may be conflating the inability to OD on opium with no addiction gain. information above may not be accurate.

Different drugs have different addiction ratings.

For example: Cannabis has very very little addiction gain, while I think Ketamine is probably on par with LSD or Speed (Im probably wrong about Ketamine's addiction value though)

Edit: just to clarify, every drug you take will add some addiction, the amount of addiction gained is dependent on the drug.

I think those drugs will have less addiction gain than say Xanax for example. Never done it myself so can't say for sure, but I'd say if your intentions are to complete those merits then you should just go for it and see for yourself!

Ketamine goes pretty quick - but OD's are pretty common, and the cooldown after an OD is long.

Cannabis Cooldown: 60-90 Mins
Ketamine Cooldown: 45-60 Mins
Opium Cooldown: 180-250 Mins

Yea, Ketamine has a bad OD rate (~10% in my case) and around 28 hours of cooldown after OD

I did constant Cannabis for the merit first, but only learned what the addiction icon looked like after taking some Vicodin/Xanax. So no rehabs needed for Cannabis, I think. Haven't taken Ketamine or Opium.
