OK,
so, your looking for a gift for someones birthday. Something a bit personal.

how about a Birthday Card.
You buy it from one of the shops, Post office maybe. Doesnt have to cost a fortune.

it would have the ID of the person you are buying it for, so, it probably wouldn't be passed around.
You could pay more for more personalisation.
maybe the profile image of the receiver.

and add a little message to it ?


Not sure how it would all work, or even if it would, im no coder.

Maybe make them untradeable, but can be thrown in the dump, and can be returned to sender

Eg
You search the dump and find a birthday card addressed to "X" sent to them from Bl0ndie, with option to return card to sender or throw back

Wouldn't that just bloat up the item pool (and the dump)? We have to take the dev's perspective into consideration, otherwise it won't get made.

I suggest an option to tear up the card instead of throwing it back to circulation.

Yep. That’s also a good idea.

I assumed most people would want to keep it as it’s slightly personalised and worthless to anyone else
But yes a tear up option if you really didn’t want it work
