Company directors should be able to mouse over employees effectiveness and see a list of modifiers like:
  • Job stats +100%
  • Drug addiction -10%
  • Inactive for 30hours - 10%
  • ect ect
This would help directors make real informed decisions regarding their staff.
Implementing this would also help achieve the developers long-term agenda to nerf company multis.

This suggestion was originally posted by Zachjuv in the thread about the recent changes to employee effectiviness.

Adding this feature would certainly make it more beneficial for directors to become more active in all choices regarding their staff.

Great idea.

I understand the need for devs to weed out multis, employee multis & bots, but at least give directors the tools and information so that they can weed them out of companies making the even less beneficial to cheaters that operate them.

I have never had to deal with fedded employees, but if you ask me, they might as well be automatically removed from the company by the system.

"Cleaner Ilogintoboostmymainaccount has been removed from the company and put in Federal Jail".

I doubt that any Director would object to that.

No objections there.

Let's see if we can get this thread up to 100.
I think Zach's suggestion would be a very easy and quick fix.

Not a director. I like the inactivity penalty to multi or "only login for job" employees.

But totally agree directors need some measure of employee activity. I can't imagine a 20 person TV trying to keep track of those employees at the bottom without some kind of view available.

Whilst I would happily accept this I feel it would provide too much info in to the company system that they like to keep secret.

R+ and I have a counter suggestion here...

Perhaps, but the devs could choose which modifiers to display. Any extra information is better than the measly 20% stars we got right now. Even if it would only be stats that are readily available through the player profile detailed view.

A seasoned director might figure out most of this info given time and tinkering. But I honestly can’t remember when we last saw a change that had a positive impact on companies or the directors’ UX.

I think it’s about time.

R+ from me!

I like the new change to clear out the lowest tier or company multi's who never see a catpcha screen, but need more visibility on the director side to account for it.

Would also love a working stats estimate like TornStats gives. Like how effective is someone above the 150% line?

I think this could be possible, although I'd need to rebuild this system fairly substantially which may change exactly how modifiers are applied. Currently they're not in any consistent pattern as they were never meant to be discernible.
Fishbum [2009144]
He could if it was always easier than it was intended to be. Then he can view these changes as correcting the original problem, not making it needlessly harder. It's all about perspective. I have no opinion about the changes because I'm not a director, merely a casual observer.

Hear a lot of actual directors saying how easy it is, it's all I hear every day...

If your not a director I couldn't give a shit on your opinion of this tbh.
