Is there any point of it anymore, always seems to be 15-20 people in jail at a time, and get busted out or bailed out within minutes.

i fail a crime and i know within 2-3 minutes il be back out again via someone’s help, just want to know what other people think about this, is there any plans to shape up the jail system to make it more exciting/less likeable, and put more fear into failing crimes etc...

Just let it go brus.

For f**ks sake let's not overwhelm the game developers.

Just enjoy your wearable jewellery for a while.

At least you will look sexy while jammed up in the can:)

I think you answered your own question. (Merits for busting and bailing)

But to obvi add to the role play (although getting busted out so easily isn’t great role play).

I’m sure there’s a way they could make the “jail” better but who really wants that and who would really want to sit in a virtual jail for hours on end.

same reason we hide in virtual hospital (usually to hide from buy muggers)

there is a few ways to make jail more lets use difficult

1) if you get arrested and someone tries to bust you out the person who arrested you could get a notification that youll break out within say 2 minutes and within that 2 minutes if he can defeat that person busting you he gets thrown in and you get more time?

2) like choosing not to be revived have the ability not being able to break free?

3) have a chance of say 1/10 that the you could get away whilst the person breaking you out gets caught?

Lol got to giggle at people wanting to change aspects of the game like this (scamming being another). It's far more satisfying beating the game at its own rules than trying to make the game conform to me.

Yes you might only be in there for a minute or two but at this point there are a few things built on top of the jail such as merits and I'm pretty sure there is a job where you can arrest people too.

I don't think that much should be thrown away especially considering as you say, most busts last less than 3 minutes or so.

Ive bought a few people out of jail but damn, you gotta be faster than the alcoholics at bits and bobs.

Me? I dig it all but ive only been playing since febuary of this year and looking at the top dogs with 4 or 5 thousand days...i know exactly how fresh and new i really am.

With that in mind , ive thrown out playful suggestions here and there in suggestions threads but ive noted that it is quite the personal accomplishment for some to get the torn inmate population down to zero. And thats pretty freaking neat considering the size of the active population here.

I feel the jail system of torn is working great.

But uh... you know , if its more excitement youre looking for, just hit chat.

<100 day account telling us how the game should run.

Love it.

Look boi. You don't even know the long term hindering effects of getting jailed. So please, get your natural nerve bar to 60 before bitching how trivial getting jailed is, okay?

Being a low level means you'll likely get busted out easily by higher levels who are grinding the jail busts merits, but that's just it. You're low level, so low and trivial that not even the prison guards notice that you were there.

Can you be a bigger dick?

Just because someone hasn't been playing as long as you doesn't make their opinion invalid
