I am a bit curious about restarting, I get that its a restart so i will be saying goodbye to all my money and whatnot - I can live with that. I have just a couple of questions:

1: Once my account has been successfully closed, after the 14 days, am I able to restart with the same email address?
2: Once my new level 1 account is up and running, am I allowed to remarry the spouse I was with before deletion? or must I find new love?

Would be sad to restart when you have a 4000 day old account :(

Yeah, its just I've been largely AFK the whole time and have the worst stats in the game - sick of being this 'old timer' who can get taken out by kids 300 days in hahaa

You'll grow faster if you don't restart. You should have pretty good working stats to get any job you want. You can already fly. You already have a private island. You've already gained several awards. And you've already joined an elim team lol. Don't let your team down!

Restarting, you'll still get beat up by those same people, plus everyone else in the game lol.

If you plan to start playing more serious, I would recommend just being more active and growing your current account.

Unless youre in extreme financial debt, and to a point where you can catch up in stats with a lower amount of cash required than the debt involved. It’s never really worth restarting.

Just have to figure out a game plan and stick to it, hold your level where you are and train hard would be a great start.

Your drugs used are minimal really, so your rehab will be cheap. Unlike players like myself with most of my Xanax used in the old system (pre-respo)

Get yourself as much as you can for the working stats you have, and push forwards from there.

Does "Can i has your stuff" apply for resets or only when people say they will abandon Torn?

if yes - Can i has your stuff.
if not - Other people way smarter than me have said things i also agree with about sticking with your current account.

I mean you have the 10-year merit, and the 2000 days married merit. That alone is worth keeping your account, as you'd be missing out on those for another 5.5 and 10 years respectively, and would have to wait that amount of time to get them again. The same goes for any work stats you've gained, any progress towards merits and awards, all of that. It's all time you'd be throwing away for the sake of vanity.

Also, as I said in a similar post, age can often be a deterrent to younger players who may otherwise be able to beat you, but avoid doing so because they think age is a factor.

So what if you gave your property to someone, restarted and then moved into the property with them?

I'd imagine moving into the property would be ok, but any transfers to the new account from the spouse would be suspect, including property, money, items, whatever.

You will lose your work stats, which are a source of income. Did you complete many education classes?

I believe there's a way around it there's been restarts who literally spent 20bil-30bil there first month. They claim they earnt it, so just figure out what they did cause making 3bil per day for 30 days wasn't legit.

Honestly, restarting is something that I've done and I have no regret of it. I must confess if you do not know exactly what you're doing, it never works out as planned. If you have a decent amount of educations completed - I wouldn't bother restarting either. Before restarting, I would recommend anyone planning to take some time to dedicate learning to active moneymakers, for these will become your bread and butter.

You'll want to figure a way to start the game with a happy jump and enough residual to get to level 15 in your first few days of restarting. If you're going to restart, might as well be slightly competitive. Having a faction to join from the moment you start so you can at least have some tolerance and steadfast early on is a good shout too. Along with a spouse with a maxed PI.

Once you've got to level 15 - You'll find it's the same old game, make money, gain stats.

If you don't research, you'll end up like me (Source Below) - I thoroughly regretted how I started this account. Once things got in motion, you can go places though.

I've seen people around your age, struggle to do things that newer players can do. You may have work stats, but you'll find the odd director that thinks you could potentially go mega-inactive on them and won't hire you. Factions may be opposed to taking you on due to the amount of inactivity you've had. Once you pick up with the activity and them graphs go up, it's easier, but eh. There's no real reason you can't over time make your current account as amazing as any restart.

you gonna be even weaker if you restart. just start traning none stop now, dont mug, dont do missions, dont revive, only train.

Regardless of any afk (time away) your stats are stats especially WORK STATS they all take time to get together what benifit would a restart be just keep uour account and built on it with everything that you know of keep getting stronger until you are strongest
