Realistically speaking, Trump isn't going to risk another smearfest like he got with Kavanaugh. He's going to go with a woman so that the misogynist #MeToo allegations are neutralized from the get go. Plus, he'll want the left to self-implode as they smear a strong women.

1) the senate in 2016 agreed that no SC would be confirmed in an election year.

So that right there should vacate Trump and McConnells list.

If you are worried if someone does or doesnt support trump on one of his investigations, then you should be equally worried that a potential SC sat in on strict Roman Catholic groups that directly go against rights and societal wants of this decade and century.
