So I bought a motorcycle helmet, and a mask. I noticed under the motorcycle helmets information it says masked: yes. How do the stealth statistics work? Are masks stackable with motorcycle helmets since you can wear both? And is there a quantifiable amount of stats when it comes to masks, or helmets?

Multiple "masked" gear doesn't stack, and there's no defined stealth modifier for them just yet. For stealth attacks, the weapon's stealth + stealth merits and other factors are considered, namely:
  • Weapon's stealth (with DBK and macana being the best ones)
  • Dexterity difference (the higher the difference, the easier/harder it'll be)
  • Face masks (provides a small increase in stealth, probably anywhere between 0.25 and 1 bonus stealth)
  • Stealth merits (+0.2 stealth per merit up to +2 stealth)
  • Weapon mods (suppressors give 3-5 bonus stealth)
Bear in mind stealth is calculated each turn, so the more turns you have, the less likely you are to stealth an attack.
There's also some company specials that guarantee stealth, namely the 7* music store special Deafened and the 3* theater special Dramatics.

Finally, you can see your current odds of stealthing an attack by checking the stealth bar, left side of the attack window.

Great to learn that. Good to know. Thanks!

hmmm. but it kinda doesn't change too much regarding training choices. You still need speed decent enough to not miss a lot. Every miss works to de-stealth you. Still, it's cool to understand it.

You guys are awesome, I've been using tear gas to reduce dexterity in battles, and have been stealthing the majority of the time, but not as often on higher levels, I'm assuming because they have higher stats. I'll just keep happy jumping, but it's expensive.
