I would have liked to see Pence call Harris out for calling Trump racist, the same as she said about Biden a few months ago, yet she's holding Biden's battle banner now. The hypocrisy is astounding.

This is the first election where the VP is in a serious role. Trump and Biden are very old. Biden doesn't seem to be in the best of health. And Trump just got covid. Though, he seemingly recovered well.

Sorry to say, bur most Americans haven't got a clue what freedom actually means, they think it's something you can buy at the gun store.
Absolute freedom is something that nobody should strive for, it's also not really possible.
For instance, if I was completely free, I could have the freedom to kill you, but by doing that, I take away your freedom to live. In a lot of cases, one's freedom is the other one's restriction.

Freedom is the choice to do as you please, so long as you aren't harming another. Pretty sure most understand that. It isn't even a hard concept to grasp.
As for the prison population, I agree it's absurd. It's cause of our privatized prison system which has been abused as modern day slavery.
That said, Trump is the first president to actually address that problem, with his "First step" Act. It's actually undoing a lot of the harm Kamala and Biden caused.
