There was a change as to what counts as activity for a company employee. You can read the discussion about it in this report and this thread. Thanks..!!
I just experienced this... issue. By all accounts the user/player/employee is active but for whatever algorithm, went from fully effective to 0 with out warning! I will let the player know (with a note to all other players in the company) that the administrators of Torn think you are a bot and don't want your activity to count... unless someone has a better idea :(
Edit: I did read the report and thread, for as much time as I could allow.... I don't have all day for this... game.
I also experienced this today. My employee was inactive 2 days and at 4 bolts. Then logged in and went to 0 bolts today. From reading the previous thread I was under the impression this would be a gradual drop that took longer than the inactive drop. If this was the case would they not drop down to 2 or 3 then 1 or 2 then 0 or 1? When people I've seen people go inactive they generally drop more slowly than 5,4,0.
Well from reading the other bug reports it seems there is no warning. Doesn't it make for sense for them to drop slowly like inactivity? Is there a way to monitor what employees are doing that I don't know about?
The no warning thing is a big deal, especially when I watch all employees' activity... now for no reason. This may not be a bug, but it is a BIG ISSUE. I sent a message to the employee in question on my end, depending on what comes back from that chat.... iieekk :(
Yes, I thought the sudden drop was originally because the code was new and it would be a gradual decline after that but it appears not. It doesn't seem to make sense with stats, addiction and inactivity being gradual decline and this being sudden but such is torn I suppose.
I have talked to my employee and he said he would train and do some crimes, just too busy in real life with work to spend much time on torn. So I guess he's been logging in to help me or keep a job but it's kind of shitty to suddenly 0 him out, imo. Good luck with your employee.
I just got word back from my employee: "I am not a bot, I just work a lot of hours ?".
I refuse to ask anything more of this player as there isn't anything wrong he is doing. He logs in everyday, does his thing, who the hell am I to tell him how to play when I don't even know the requirements. This "game" is supposed to be play as you like, make your own destiny. This is putting a very sour taste in my mouth.
To anyone reading this, should I be taking this issue up elsewhere... what are my options? Thank you.
