Hey there, I’ve been gone for awhile. Stat wise, what are the best items for each type of armor? I’m looking to get everything together!

Gloves, Pants, Boots - Combat armor are the best. I'd aim for 41+ rating.

Chest is a matter of debate. Flexible armor, as said above, is the best straight armor rating, but it doesn't cover the arms or throat. For this reason some people prefer Full Body Armor.

Helmet is again a matter of debate. If you're super rich, the welding helmet is the undisputed best, but assuming you don't want to drop billions on a piece of armor, it's a split between combat helmet and the motorcycle helmet. Combat has much better armor rating, but 25% of head hits will be unarmored and it does not block any temporary weapons. Motorcycle Helmet is a lower rating but covers more of the face and will block pepper spray.

Early on aiming for extremely high quality amours is a waste of money.
Decent FBA a motorcycle helm with combat armour will get you quite far in fights.

Unless you're pushing for a competitive Waring faction your cash is likely better placed where it will earn you more.
