As per the image above, we know that on the top left red circled area, we usually get notifications about important notifications regarding the game (maintenance, unexpected downtimes, etc)
I would like to suggest, if possible, that on the right hand side of the space in the header bar, that it may be good to put any current active event and a countdown timer to show how long it lasts.
For example, it could show something like as follows for the current double E from E cans event currently ongoing. Examples below:

Yes, I agree that you may say, "Hey, it is already in the Calendar, and there will be a newspaper article about the start time, and people will post details in the forum blabla", but not everyone checks the calendar, reads the newspaper, and so on.
It would be nice to have a visible indicator to display it since there is nowhere else on the pages that show this information at the moment.
