They are logic puzzles. Green means right number right spot, red means wrong number, yellow means right number wrong spot. Just follow this guide if you have difficulty.

The yellow icon means that the number with the yellow icon is in the combination but wrong order.

If you get a yellow number, don't try to find the correct spot for it immediately. You want to use all three spots to check for more numbers before you fill in the correct combination on your last try.
Most of the time you fail to open a chest because you got green numbers too early.

I think I’m 2 lost and 1 unlocked when a green number has appeared first. Shit ratio to have!

1 2 3 (3 was yellow ) right number wrong place.......
4 5 6 (6 was green ) cant be moved as its in right place.......
7 8 9 ((8 was green) cant be moved from right number........
Therefore the correct combo is 3 8 6 opened.........
Even though you get the right numbers but in the wrong place, if they are yellow you can still move them to try to get the other correct numbers, but you can lose if the greens come in on first go granted so sometimes its luck of draw when that happens ...........cant complain though when you do open them remember that its totally free stuff for a mth your getting so 1 out of 2 is still free stuff you got, :) not to mention all the other gifts and games you get stuff from :)

Try to get some ornaments they give you spawn rate

When you get a green right off the bat, as long as you don't get another green, you can check all but one number (usually 9). I've got 3 unlocked 1 lost for those kinds of chests.
It's way worse when you get two greens at once, since you'll miss three numbers regardless of what you do so it's literally a coin toss.
