I know the leader of my faction has runned his for over 10 years. Started it from the groudn up. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Kudo's to those determined to dedicate their time and effort in this great aspect …

I am interested to know how many factions are still run and owned by the original founding member (started with 5k respect). Especially top factions. It would be nice to know who persevered and built up a notable faction, staying true to their vision and mission.

I know so many take the easy way out and buy established factions, knowing what I know now, I dont blame them.

Not us. Jairyll inherited the faction when the founder went inactive, Capn_Scrummy, I think.

It's before I joined, but I don't think by much. We were all under a year in game when I joined.

Mile High Club is. Still under the 2 founding members control (out in new subfaction at the moment getting it up and running though).

Had the option several times to upgrade, but we will be keeping our home.

YW (formerly Mjolnir) was purchased for a modest sum 2,402 days ago with next to no respect. This faction has seen it all. It's been the home of many-core players that helped build the foundations of the faction; many of whom, unfortunately (or fortunately?) left the game. It's housed many HOF guest chainers from our days of being HOF hoppers and it's been part of a successful merger with Lex Talionis. All the while this little old faction keeps going, churning out gems and unearthing players that are friggen amazing humans.

So although I don't think it was a starter 5k faction, it wasn't far off. We've been here for a long ass time... basically since day 1 of my spouse starting.

2m respect and about to break into the top 100 HOF... pretty sick.
