I used every successful merger or change that immediately sprang to mind aha I know none of the three were the same exact situation. At this point I’m not too bothered, dealer buy, so a dealer faction, they don’t wanna be nuke then they don’t have to be. Sick of catching flack because someone not in our team threw a stick in the spokes.

I'd just like to say it takes a lot for me to post in forum I prefer not to get involved however.. Busteegurl is not a member of Evo, she lost that privilege when she jumped ship very early on in a shit fest in our faction chat.. she basically was out of control, rude and insulting to other members which tried their best to calm her mouth down ! Please don't think we are all aggressive and toxic because we are not .. some members have left, some new members have joined.
I personally wish them all good luck, they were good members many have gone to other AK factions and I'm sure they will be looked after well, and our paths will cross again!

To the best of my knowledge, I didn't insult anyone, and I wasn't rude enough to imply it was perhaps "that time of the month" like others insinuated about me. I'm an emotional person, and I let my emotions flow freely. I don't bottle them up and hope for the best. I felt betrayed, just because you want to do it your way doesn't mean I can't do it my way.

It was me who mentioned the one wheeled menstrual cycle (which wasn't actually aimed at you, but you certainly took it harder than a sailor) but only after you told me to shut up and f**k off. Simply for trying to calm the situation down and put another point of view across.
And that was after several others tried to calm you and eventually eveyone got sick of the shit show.
You told several people they were stupid and similar remarks, I lost count.
You keep saying you're an emotional person, i get that i really do, but using that as an excuse to shout down others with a differing view is just a cop out. It's like someone saying it's ok to steal cos I'm a thief, that's my thing, so deal with it.
You're likely a nice person really. Loyal, reliable and devoted. But you really showed yourself up before storming out like a toddler. You could have used that energy in a positive manner, but chose to strop off instead.

this is the point i wanted to make, but its just members mentality they would rather bully the new management into paying up rather than have the old one settle what is necessary. I Agree its wrong and new management deserves a chance but the members only wish is to bully and extort what they can and join a HOF. its like sure we know who screwed us but we would rather screw you more for buying up.
this is just my personal experience from multiple acquisitions. however thankfully the dumpster fire wasn't this huge in my case.
edit: to outsiders this might make sense to watch and have fun looking at the growing dumpster fire but you'll truly understand what dealer is going through at the moment if you were in his shoes.

So I'm obviously not in Nuke or Evo, but I do feel that Nuke has to bear some of the responsibility for this mess. It should have been fairly obvious that if they wanted a smooth transition Nuke needed to up-front, transparent, and generate member buy-in for this. Instead they went for a stealth purchase that was being denied by T-Max up until the last minute (and I think Dealer's stand-in was in the faction while these denials were happening). Maybe there were extenuating circumstances. I'm certain I don't have the whole story, but the onus is on the buyer to be up front and to work to generate that buy-in from the get go.
No doubt many of us have worked for organizations irl who have handled change poorly, where new management was brought in and employees were not consulted. From the outside this sure looks like one of those times. Evolution will retain its same respect and its same specials, but it otherwise looks like a lot of the value of evolution (its members) will have been lost. Ironically, in real life this is the end result of most mergers. They are made because it benefits the people at the top who want to cash out or expand their empire, but the merger itself destroys value. Sure, dealer was purchasing Evo's respect, but he was also purchasing a full faction that was able to do lots of PAs that wouldn't need a lot of work to run, and other than the respect part, it isn't clear how much of that will remain.
This is also why I have quoted Blexi's post even though I am not responding to him. The difference between a successful merger that creates value and an unsuccessful merger that destroys value is generally doing exactly what happened in the NS merger: all members of leadership end up on board so they can work to make it a success and members are allowed to raise concerns beforehand.
