Torn android app doesn't work

Been using the Torn app on android for a while and it's been fine, last night i tried opening it and instantly i got this (see screenshot). I cleared cache, cleared data, forced stopped the app and then reinstalled the app twice but i still get this, not sure if it's something on my side but the rest of my apps work just fine

The issue has been addressed in v 1.0.9. This is currently pending review with Google play. It should be available to everyone pretty soon. Right now, the only option for you is to wait for the new update to be released.

Can you please confirm your device details? The device manufacturer, device name and OS version should be sufficient.

Device is a LG G4, or LG-H815, running Android 6.0. I know this isn't limited to my device alone though as many others are having this issue, few comments on Facebook Torn etc

Have you updated Chrome and Android Webview? A recent issue with them is causing crashes with other apps too, could be the reason.
You could also sign up for the beta, although that would probably be more of a workaround than a fix. I'm running version 1.1.4, signed up for beta, and the app works fine for the most part...
