Adding non-binary as a gender option

• Only one new gender option- non binary. Its called an umbrella term for a reason.
• If your point is it does not matter- Cool, lets remove it all together. It doesn't matter right?
• You don't have to use it unless you want to.
• Not asking for this immediately?

• How it would work-
• You only choose as male or female during profile creation.
• After this point, non binary is an option along with male and female.
• The code still considers you as whatever your last choice was.
• If you apply to strip clubs, the director can see in our application which sex the code considers you to be.
• If you switch to the "other" gender (Eg- from female to nb to male)
• then you basically get a standard sex change.
• If you go non binary again, same system
• You still keep the old character models and stuff
• The only actual change is that your profile shows non binary.

• Do the devs have time for this? Well i don't know but I'd say thats a question for them
• Is this too complicated? Once more, a question for the devs

• If you think i am talking about two spirit as my sole "ancient civilisations" point, no I'm not. I come from a different culture which also very much accepts a third gender, which was used basically how non binary or gender queer is used today (and in this conversation). As an umbrella term. A gender which is not strictly male or female.
• I am not debating on the thread cause I do not have the time. There are a lot of great people making points which i can agree with, but I am not replying to 100+ posts.
• THIS IS NOT A DEBATE THREAD. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL THREAD. THIS IS NOT A LEGAL THREAD.
• When you make a suggestion, it is still the devs call, and i would say they are capable of making decisions on their own. You need not think for them.
• If there are more changes to be made after this, it will come through the suggestions forum or it will be the devs call. If its the first, well great, deal with it then. If its the second, okay, you make a suggestion if you are so pissed.
• If gender makes no difference to you, okay great, continue playing as you do. If you dont care, ignore it. Simple. Why are you debating against it.
• If someone is using the non binary symbol cause its how they identify, they probably do know they can be harassed about it. If they are experimenting, well. Its an online forum, it is better than irl if youre not sure of the reaction. It is full of people who will harass you about it. You make a call. But i do find myself hard pressed to believe that people do not already know of the potential ramifications.
• This is not very organised but i just read more than a hundred posts. Sue me.
