I pour a dribble of gin into each one (preferably a bloody shiraz) and tip the oyster and gin into my mouth without the shell touching my lips ;)

Terrible news re the oyster harvest! Where is that?
We have had rainy weather this whole week too with spurts of absolutely beautiful beachy weather.
