So far the players i know are part of the Player committee are all top players in top factions. Which brings the problem of when there's ideas or suggestions needed, all the suggestions are from players in top factions which we all know what they can do. So once the update comes out, it mostly favours them and makes peasants like low players or weak factions to suffer.
Or maybe there is and i havent seen them?
Question: Should there be different kinds of players in the committee so when an update comes out it favours everyone?
While yes it's important to have a mix of people in the committee you also need to make sure the members understand what kind of game Torn is, value the time and effort it takes to grow and don't want to turn it into some casual click and log out game.
bogie was looking for new members, haven't checked in a while so don't know if new ones were added but hopefully a nice rotation is found in future to keep things active.

so Honestly i think a PC is just some sort of False sense of Democracy at Torns Development which i don't really think PC had much of a say to begin with and Ched is Still gonna do Ched
A load of young new aspiring talent recently joined the committee to further diversify. Though keep in mind the committee itself does not make suggestions.
Suggestions come from either Ched or the Suggestion Forums, the committee is a group of players that will dig through the details of those suggestions and tweak where needed to prevent as much abusing possibility as possible whilst keeping it all balanced.

Everyone contributed for months on this subject, several were against many different small aspects along the way, and eventually we reached a compromise that the majority were comfortable with.
That's how things function. If you feel entitled to have 100% of your ideas accepted and just blame it on Ched not listening if they're not, then you're probably not a good fit for the Committee.
On topic, plenty of younger players are the right fit for the Committee, which is why bogie made an effort to diversify the backgrounds of the membership in his tenure - flashback a couple of years, yes it was quite old and stale.
As a point to the contrary, you have to realise the older players on average are going to be more experienced with the game, which is a decent component needed for discussing the game itself.
I think even when you go back a couple of years, new aspiring talent has always been added to the committee, the problem is / was , a lot of those aspiring players grow so insanely fast, that before you know it they're also viewed as "old and stale".
I applied last go-round but my application wasn't even looked at, probably because I have had interactions with Bogie in the past where I wouldn't bow to his word. There was some three word canned response to my application, and the obvious disregard for certain vocal players that have a passion for the game, yet are marginalized, causes them to never seek to help again in the future.
Only 9 months old and already on the player committee!?!? If he was a fetus he has the possibility of still being in the womb, there is NO WAY that a player that young can understand the game and make any sort of contribution towards its development. This is ridiculous!
