So i play a game called NationStates.
some people on torn say i would be BAD at running a country

well here is what my country turned out as!

The Dictatorship of Kragada is a very large, orderly nation, renowned for its compulsory military service, restrictive gun laws, and suspicion of poets. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 123 million Kragadans are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."
The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 42.5%.



The Kragadan economy, worth 6.05 trillion xyhorins(MY CURRENCY) a year, is quite specialized and dominated by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Gambling. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 49,199 xyhorins, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.5 times as much as the poorest.

Supermarket milk is a shear-thickening fluid that can stop small-caliber bullets, teachers prefer to give 'Maybe, Maybe Not' tests when dealing with sensitive subjects, lawyers spend as much time preparing their make-up as they do their briefs, and broken suspension systems are giving auto repair shops plenty of business. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kragada's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Nationstates. Yes, I remember that game. I think it was this game or something similar that was a part of the Red Alliance, my the faction I was in was called Red Alliance Defence Corps or something. Anyhow, the leader decided to quit but before leaving changed the name to Red Alliance Protection Enforcement. A day later, all of our members are in trouble for our name. Stupid f**k admins wouldn't listen to our reasoning that we had no idea what our alliance had been renamed too. It was like an hour after the name change, 7 of us hadn't even been active that day.

The leader was a f**king fanny ballbag as my Scottish friend likes to say.

I decided to play again. Less then 5 minutes after joining, I already have 5 telegrams offering me to join alliances. Ridiculous. Let people get a feel for the game.

The Federal Republic of Kvitka is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Vasya Nyasha and representatives with a fair hand, and remarkable for its compulsory military service, digital currency, and absence of drug laws. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic, humorless population of 2.979 billion Kvitkanians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Industry, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ukon. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 24.4%.
The frighteningly efficient Kvitkan economy, worth 403 trillion flowers a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Retail, Arms Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining. Black market activity is notable. Average income is an impressive 135,458 flowers, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 398,044 per year while the poor average 36,316, a ratio of 11.0 to 1.

I currently have two nations on nationstates, one for trying to achieve high: civil rights, economy and political freedom scores, and one to allow me to RP as an evil dictator :D

Well, was bored so just joined the game and created the The Free Land of Drueste.

I think i've played this at some point in the past, but has been quite a while. Recently i used to play Politics & War, but it became rather boring and stale, so i quit that one also.

Lets see how it goes...

Anyways thread is missing the link to the game Nation States for the lazy folk.

I also play NationStates, it's a fun game and I've noticed it's possible to get completely into it and join Discords and do politics and regions and hostile takeovers and....... It has depth, in its simplicity.

Well meanwhile i remembered why i quit back them... If you are not into RP, there is very litle to do. I will probably forget the game exists again soon enough.

Kind of lacks a purpose maybe making the WA actually have impact on the countries and an actuall war system, even if "cold war" style but that would effect others. hell could even be an opt in thing like the WA, it would at least make it fun for the easily bored such as myself.

I mean, its a fun reading how neighboring countries now a piece of art has been in Drueste because of the greese stains on it, but eventually gets dull.

My nation is called the republic of teg
