Since the medical revamp, nobodies selling and everybody is freeviving to catch up. Theres always going to be new revivers freeviving to catch up. While the business of reviving ever recover from this update?

Before update: you didn't ask but I revived you anyways now pay me 1m and yes this is extortion.
After update: UwU daddy here's a freevive hope you enjoy <3

always paid, before i was mostly full med cd all the time couse of filling blood bags, but now, having to do it so often i just stopt doing and i dont need to buy revive anymore becouse i always have free med cd now

The update definitely created a tiered system. The only time paying for revives really makes sense is during war (or attack events), but during war a revive with <50% life refilled is a quick path back to the hospital. I guess from the viewpoint of a reviver, those freevives could be seen as an investment for the future, hoping that high end reviving eventually pays dividends.

Been plenty actually, I did call out one of them in forums and they put fake bounties on me. I personally have nothing against revivers I respect their playstyle and 99% are good it's just the few that do dodgy stuff.

Ngl i was freeviving before the update came out so.....

Though being part of leadership in a reviving faction, it's made things complicated, but definitely won't stop us (and other revive factions) from getting revive contracts, as there will always be wars and people needing revives, getting rid of bounties, warring other factions, and getting out of hosped abroad.
No doubt it's slowed down the reviving community, but they won't stop us. They can't stop us.

i dont like how ched is sacrificng alot of the game for one aspect that is rankt warring.

being a outside merc, being a reviver ect ect just became alot harder and less viable. sure warring is important, but is it the most important part of torn? no i dont think so in the slighest. the amount of people that war of the userbase is probly below 10%

im sure there are more people that workt as revivers and outside mercs then 10% of torn.

less freedom, game becoming more linear

My faction has been enjoying getting the revive challenges done post update. I think it's a good idea to work on getting skill up now to be able to sell sought after revives later, when events like elimination come about.
Personally I have had about 5 payments in about 250 revives which was unexpected, I thought the community was a little better than that personally but we are not in it for the money right now just the skill.
I believe once everyone has a decent skill they are happy with they will look forward to selling when big wars or monthly competitions come about.

Onwards and upwards, Stompers will be selling revives just give us a week's notice to reset specials when needed.

i stopt paying for revives the moment i always had free med cd to use it myself,

before i bougth revives of trade, i havent done that one time sense after this update couse now i always have free med cd

its a shit f**king update. sure if you have the time to fill bloodbags every 3 hours, then sure, you need to buy revives like before, but normaly people dont do that. so now when we get red in a crime or get hosp we can just med out.

the only thing i thought was good was the skill progression revivers get, that adds some new gameplay, but then it ruines it with the change to the coldown so people have to go to inventory several times a day if they wanna always be maxed med.

and the outside hits denie, wich is total bullshit, just couse war are costly lets destroy a huge part of the game for huge part of the playerbase. genius

I cant even remember the last time i was revived. About 10 years ago is my best guess

It simply isnt necessary for a lot of players.
Brakier [2095393]
would be nice to get free revives if thats what you gotten, other then od, when i get flamed in arson, i had to buy a revive if i dont wanna sit 6 hours in hosp

im not a reviver, so it dosent hurt my economicly, but i feel it hurts the community. i can just med out now from hosp, this update atleast for me as been dentrimental to the player freedom and freedom in what way you wanna play as in torn. all the revives i bougth before was somebodys income as a reviver, now that is gone as i dont need to buy a reviver anymore. its good for me, but i feel like a big part of the game just was destroyed for f**king rankt warring. rankt warring has to be serriously amazing and break new grounds if its gonna impress me now.

i just feel dumbfounded that ched would make such changes to something only the top elite use.

Most of the time, I am looking for a low quality revive because I don't usually need a revive during battle, but so I can get on a plane. Is there a good way to find a reviver in training I can add to my friends list and pay as periodically, because I want the opportunity to go to a person that are working on their skill. I can use meds, but want to support folks as they train up.
