I was expecting riots at the end of the Chauvin trial. Now we have another black man, resisting arrest, dying at the hands of police.
She said it was an accident. She did yell taser, pulled her gun out by accident and shot him. I could hear the shock in her voice when she said she shot him.
I feel so sorry for both of them.
i just cant believe the dumbass cop could not tell the difference between her pistol and her taser.
I agree. At least until I see the handgrips of both weapons.
I'm also thinking some women are not capable of being rational in a tense situation.
Hell, those kids don't even f**king know why they are protesting, other than he was black lol..
That lil punk shouldn't have done what he did either, or he would still be alive today. oh well.. >.>
The Officer was charged with Homicide, and she's going to Jail.
i was just thinking the weight difference.
officer f**ked up... This is a standard situation that was completely mishandled and a young man lost his life because of it.
Gets pulled over for bad tags, had a warrant for failure to appear for carrying a pistol without a permit, and even ran from the cops in the past.
He was 20, and wasn't even old enough to be carrying a pistol, so he didn't get it f**king legally.
Officer f**ked up, but the guy caused all this shit to happen..
stop resisting.. >.>
Nothing you just listed carries a death sentence. Officer f**ked up.
Officers stop killing folks needlessly and things would be much better.
This.
People can try to victim blame here but the crux of the matter is that the officer grabbed the wrong tool and ended someone's life.
Their is no (constitutional valid) age requirement to gun ownership.
And at 20 you're old enough to be drafted war.
Also , stop making me agree with the scottsman here.
Tazers and guns are carried on different sides of the hip for a reason.
Their is no excuse.
Hard to say. People, no matter how long they've done something, can get stressed, and make mistakes. This one cost someone his life. And it's tragically sad.
A full investigation should shed more light on things, and hopefully peace can be restored.
We carry our taser on our non dominate side and our service weapon on our dominate.
For me personally my service weapon is on my right and my taser is on my left. Theres no brain power to it. Shes been an officer for 26 years?
Theres a considerable weight difference between the two.
The only question I have is if the department SOP(standard operating procedures) authorize the use of both weapons system on the same side.
If that's the case her department has failed her.
sorry bro, but that excuse just does not cut it for me. I have been shooting guns since i was a child and know for a fact there is a weight difference between a taser and a loaded pistol. If stress effects you so much that you forget ALL your training and all your senses you do not belong in law enforcement.
here is a general idea about the weight difference.
Don't resist arrest never would of happened period f**k him and f**k george floyd don't care about any of them don't resist arrest. f**k chauvin
that is just not true, I have seen many a videos where folks do their absolute best to follow orders and STILL get killed. Folks are so scared atm that they freeze up. It is the officer's job to handle the situation better not the civilian's.
Going to Minneapolis this July.
I'm good.
sure that is a good idea bro?
Yeah tell that to this cop he was a nice guy look where it got him, people see nice as a weakness your a pussy they would mash your face in

Unless he has felony warrants, deals drugs, carrying illegal weapons, or isn't going there to evade arrest, i'm sure he'll be more than fine..
