Stocks 3.0 SOXX lost BBs

ARGENTO: well im fond of stock market since long ago, and immediate changes played against all interests
ARGENTO: i lost like 3 block benefits due to reestructuration in some of them
ARGENTO: it costed me much to save to buy them
ARGENTO: TCSE no longer available and new measures of picking up benefits when you should automatically receive them thats not good
ARGENTO: nobody checked on all those cons
ARGENTO: could you address all these "complaints"
ARGENTO: and tell me who would be in charge of such changes?
Not really, there was plenty of research and discussion that occurred prior to implementing the new changes and there's nothing I or anyone else can do about your dislikes
There are several forums in which people voice their concerns if you want to read those and how others are adapting.
As with all changes to the game, everything is implemented by Chedburn, the game's creator.

I am unsure what the idea behind this thread is. The staff member who responded to you answered your question. There is nothing we can do to help with your dislikes. Please use one of the other forum threads to voice your concerns if you wish.

This sounds like "I don't like the new system because I didn't adapt. I have no constructive criticism to offer, I just don't like it."

You can sell your stocks that no longer provide blocks and buy other ones. They waived selling fees for the first while to allow for easy restructuring. There's plenty of ways you can get money out of this system easily, especially with doubling down on stock blocks. It's easier to hit points for ROI, like getting a second THS temporarily on the way to a more expensive block.

The only actual issue seems to be your complaint about having to receive the block benefits manually. But that's a 1xWeek activity at most with a 24 hour timeframe to do it before you see some loss of return. That's a pretty forgiving window assuming you play at least somewhat regularly, and you get notified about it, so it takes like... 30 seconds to collect.

Besides that, I don't see any other issues listed above that aren't already addressed. It would be a lot more effective if you wrote up your concerns/complaints in a cleaner format so it can actually be addressed.

I'm obviously not a staff member here, but I work with the support and development teams at the software company I work at. From that experience, I can tell you that your messages above would basically never be addressed or referenced because it's just complaints without any actionable request.

You're not super involved and don't make your voice heard (or at least don't make it heard in a useable format) and you don't participate in the discussions where things like this have already made plenty of rounds.

Sterling : the idea of this post is justice, i lost my HRG benefit, because my block has been reduced, so i consider fair everyone holding HRG BB before these changes should get BB entirely. if i want to get it back to the level 1 lets say, i have to spend much and it will be very hard to reach. its not a question of "adapting" as many say.

Awkwardbowman: as you may know, money from spread stocks wont buy an entire block of another one as important as the one you saved for, and as i said before, suggestions time passed, changes are already done. But a fair fix about what i expressed is expected. this change has injured many holders, the point here is that it seems im the only one with the guts to say things. if you have the power to help it would be appreciated.

Did you expect the devs to just bump up your stock holding to the new "block" amount? Seems to me that that would be the equivalent of giving free money. So in the short run, you lost your HRG block benefit but you really can make some money off the market to make up the difference by buying and selling stock for the next few days with no fees. You would have to be an "active" trader to do it but you could "play" the market nicely right now.

agree with op, however I do not think our HRG holding should have been increased, just that the 2nd increment should have been improved to reward the PI, the first increment should have stayed at the amount it was previously for a BB share wise, with the 2nd BB being the 10m shares that is now required .

Its not about adapting , its about being able to keep the things you earn when playing, if i spend a lot of time and money aquiring something its not entitled to believe it is unfair for the game devs to just take your stuff away. the goal post keeps moving further and further away for new players and whenever a game nerfs or steals your stuff they lose some trust from the community.

Before I had the HRG BB I had max bank interest merits, they were nerfed, i put my money in HRG, it got taken from me, back to bank but without the merits I changed, cause the nerf to the nerf to the theft. whatever I will be here clicking things when the timers go down but I am never spending money on this game ever again.

OP is, like you said, effectively asking for free money. Nobody has lost any money with this change, just the bonuses.

The updated HRG bonus is worth more than what it used to be (15% chance on all properties, including PI), therefore the block cost has gone up. I feel this is fair.

OP, take note - this is a fair and valid suggestion. Unfortunately, it likely won't happen though. :(

Dissappointing staff washing their hands, and not saying oh theres a fail here lets check out.
