So as I was going through the wiki I found this tid bit about raids

"
  • If your faction starts a raid, it will force any current chain into its cooldown state, so chains should be finished before or started after your faction declares a raid.
Does this mean you can't start a chain after you start a raid lole with all the hits from the raid?
I thought I understood raid hits didn't contribute to chain respect gains or hit counts but the wiki doesn't say anything about thaf

If you start a raid during an active chain, it’ll auto force that chain into cool down.

You can start a chain after you’ve begun a raid. All hits in the faction you’re raiding won’t gain actual respect for your faction, but those attacks act like you’re hitting a wall target (so more respect), and then they lose that respect on their end. However, the respect you’re hitting for (while not gaining for your actual faction) will count towards your personal respect gain so that’s neat! Raid attacks DO count for hits, but no respect gained on your end- just losing that respect on the other side.

Sorry, it’s a novel. Hope that makes sense. It’s also a tad repetitive, oops!

You’re most welcome! In my opinion it can be a tad confusing, but once you run your first raid/chain then it becomes old hat :D While you’re not gaining respect from raid hits... you’re causing utter chaos on the other end. And it can be QUITE delicious :D
