Also they announced the downtime before it even happened...how would they have know torn was going down?
If network cards was the Bottleneck and not the uplink or some software archtecture limitation, It should be less than gigabit ethernet, omg.

THey use an open source fw, maybe the lix server hosting the firewall was needing a new netcard. I'll nerver know.
