Allow us to view the calendar while flying. If it's an issue of realism regarding us not having a calendar available mid-flight, make it require owning a laptop - those all have a calendar!

There should be more mid-flight options, you are correct. Absurd how someone can commit arson during a car race, yet can't eat a lollipop during a flight.
