This was something reported as an exploit since a player found a way to extract rewards from CT despite it being closed, so yes, fixing it was quite important and the player received a reward for this! :)

I think Ched has said before devs do a lot more tasks than what is stated in the patch list, while this seems like a dumb priority to have in April it's probably there because it's deemed a more significant task than what other things the dev did.

It's available all year round for map editing, but the rewards aren't credited - except in this instance which is why the bug was reported and fixed this week.

Did you miss all the other fixes they did? Or the "This list does not include work done on new features that are unreleased." statement?

It wasn't that severe, it was a church cash reward as thanks, the potential for abuse was practically non existent but it was still worth checking and fixing just in case there were larger problems, but whilst the reward given wasn't as big as others have been in the past it was several orders of magnitude more than they'd have made by not reporting.

With things like this im happy to do church cash rewards as a fair thanks, for bugs that shouldn't be posted publicly, but not quite as critical as something laid out on the bug bounty program.

This is like complaining about a janitor sweeping the floor of a hospital instead of doing surgery. Different people do different jobs.

Wait, so the bug bounty program is paid out through what we donate to the chruch? If thats the case, ill donate more often then Im already do.
