Home Alone

Did anyone else always feel like someone was lurking either upstairs or downstairs when you were home alone? Plus odd creaking noises would sometimes happen too.

When i was younger my grandparents were really sick so my parents often had to leave me alone for the night to take care of them. I Always demanded they leave the dog with me because I knew that if there was a weird sound and he didn't react then I had nothing to worry about. We had a big old house with a wood behind it so it was filled with weird sounds inside and outside. Also the deer would wander into our garden at night and sometimes you could see their creepy eyes staring into the window. I had a fun childhood.

yeah all the time.... to the point i dont like big house, id like a house where i can see all the insider of it and thus know its safe and controlled and everything is in my vision. id probably like little japanese houses then as they have tiny box flats lol

but big house, someone else needs to be in so i can just shrug it off as the other person being in and having vision or control of the areas i cant see.

oh, there was this weird moment where late at night the tv downstairs came on at night at maximum volume....didnt help that mission impossible was on too and it was all loud explosions and a weird helicopter thing that at that volume sounded like a war zone or a alien invasion. shat everyone up, im sure my neighbours shit their bed with that too it was so loud and weird. dunno why it came on either.

ah this is rather coincidental as my parents went on holiday just now and im alone and then weird noise and movement starts to happen.

literally was just minding my own business and sound like someone knocked something over and i went in panic mode thinking a intruder in house.... cant yet find what fell over. weird shit happen when im by myself. although i still bear in mind i could be some sort of delusional thing without knowing it... like there is this one time i saw some weird foot thing on my sloped roof window and heard it make a squeek noise as it slightly slid and struggled to get grip before it moved off. its funny how real the mind can make things. or perhaps weird shit is real and people wanting it to be their mind is just to make them feel more secure.
