what is the best way to increase item amounts you can carry from travelling... multiple suitcases of which size etc would make your travelling more profitable and what is the maximum amount you can carry?

You can only have one suitcase that will allow you to carry extra items. So you could have 37 large suitcases, but you will only have 4 extra items.
Other ways join a faction with excursion branch open, you can have up to 10 further items.
A PI with airstrip also gains you a further 10 items.

also get a job in a toy shop of level 7 or above for a +5 capacity
Ways to get extra travel capacity:
- Private Island with airstrip and pilot
- Toy shop or flower shop 7*
- Faction perks excursion branch
- Suitcases (only one will give the effect)
- Business-class ticket (not worth it unless you need a quick trip somewhere)
