Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how ''market value'' for an item for a day is calculated. Is it like an average price for all the items bought for a day or is like an average price for all items listed for a day and if this is true, what happens to the market value if nobody buys or lists an item for a day.

Its average price for all the items actually bought that day from bazaars (not including trades) and for rare items that rarely get bought and sold it stays at the last price sold for and if it sells less than an item a day can show you a history of every one sold like for example dirty bombs sell so rarely you can see everytime someone messed up the pricing and accidently listed one for 40 million instead of 40 billion.
It's the average price of what an item sold for the previous day (24 hours), either at the item market or bazaar. If no one bought that item the previous day, market value of that item will be displayed as "N/A".
As mentioned above, this excludes private trades.
