i have recently seen a suggestion on the making visible for others to view a game in progress, which im personally himming and hawing on. Though i would like to rather at least have the option for the opposite player to have the (choice to send a ping *event) to the person if they haven't respond within say like 30 seconds of their turn. (doesn't have to be an every turn option either) but would be awesome for at least first turn if they wish to nod the person. i personally have missed a few games all due waiting and *oh shiny* kicking in and have won due to the very thing myself.

If somebody wanted this, they could just turn the RR sounds on. Seems unnecessary.
what do you mean by easy to abuse? all im looking for is a ping kinda what some of us already do to one another (like so, 11:47:03 - 25/05/21 **** sent $1 to you with the message: RR) just a simple event that makes noted someone sat (also a bunch of us RR constant visitors are not complaining about winning money its the simple fact of some of us like the *option* of common curtesy (i know a rare thing but its still around in torn)

so you ignored what i said is all... (doesn't have to be an every turn option either) but would be awesome for at least first turn if they wish to nod the person. <=== my first comment. im more talking the first bullet ya know the one who may have waited 13 min out of 15 for someone to sit down. the one that may have tabbed the page when someone finally sits
"Doesn't have to be an every other turn option" isn't a limiter... People could easily wait the proposed 30 seconds then spam the ping.

I say pay attention when youre gambling your money... i never play RR but if i did, i wouldnt wonder around with the option of loosing my money just cause i wasnt paying attention...
And if my opponent is away, i wont be the one pinging him to make him win, when he would of timed out otherwise, youre not paying attention too bad...
This game is sadly becoming softer and softer with these kinds of updates... torn used to be a hardcore game...
So you mentioning you have more on hand cash than you sometimes need means you just made it into my mugging list... GL
